People with social phobia may experience the following:
- A feeling of embarrassment or nervousness when beginning conversations.
- Not enjoying social events or being part of a group because of feeling nervous.
- Getting anxious when giving a report or talking to a supervisor.
- Blushing, perspiring, and/or a racing heart or palpitations in certain social settings.
- Having 'severe shyness'.
- Feeling nervous when being the center of attention.
Summit Research is not currently conducting studies in Social Phobia. However, we will be happy to discuss your condition and consider you for future studies. If you are selected in the future, all research-related care and study medications will be provided at no cost.
