Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

People with PTSD often experience the following:

  1. Have witnessed/experienced a traumatic event in the past
  2. The trauma caused fear, helplessness, or horror
  3. They often have recurring distressing thoughts of the event
  4. They often have recurring distressing dreams of the event
  5. They sometimes re-experience the traumatic event
  6. They can overreact to situations which remind them of the event
  7. They tend to avoid situations which remind them of the event
  8. They tend to overreact to unexpected sights or sounds

Summit Research is currently seeking individuals experiencing the above symptoms to participate in a research study of medications which may be helpful in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. If you are selected, all research-related care and study medications will be provided at no cost.
