Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
People with PTSD often experience the following:
- Have witnessed/experienced a traumatic event in the past
- The trauma caused fear, helplessness, or horror
- They often have recurring distressing thoughts of the event
- They often have recurring distressing dreams of the event
- They sometimes re-experience the traumatic event
- They can overreact to situations which remind them of the event
- They tend to avoid situations which remind them of the event
- They tend to overreact to unexpected sights or sounds
Summit Research is currently seeking individuals experiencing the above symptoms to participate in a research study of medications which may be helpful in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. If you are selected, all research-related care and study medications will be provided at no cost.
